Our Asphalt Service Areas, County by County

Apex Asphalt is based on the Wasatch Front. From there we mobilise to commercial property across Salt Lake, Utah, Davis, Tooele and Wasatch Counties.

Conditions differ a lot across that footprint. The valley cycles through freeze and thaw dozens of times a winter. Davis County catches lake-effect snow, so ploughs scrape the surface harder. Tooele bakes under high-desert UV. Meanwhile Heber sits high enough that frost reaches deep into the sub-grade.

Therefore the maintenance schedule should differ too. A lot in Tooele needs sealing sooner than the same lot in Provo. A lot in Layton needs restriping more often than one in Draper. Consequently we set the interval by location rather than applying one rule everywhere.

Each county page covers three things. First, what local surfaces are actually up against. Second, the kinds of property we work on there. Third, the towns we cover. If your town is missing, ring us anyway, because the lists are not exhaustive.

One crew covers all five counties, and that is deliberate. Sending the same people everywhere keeps the standard even. Otherwise you get one result in Sandy and a different one in Heber.

Travel does not change our pricing either. Tooele and Wasatch are normal service areas, not out-of-area calls. Very remote sites can carry a mobilisation line on a small job. Even then, it appears in the written quote up front.

Season matters more than distance, though. Hot-mix work needs warm ground, so it runs roughly April to October. Sealing and crack work stretch slightly wider. At elevation the window narrows further, which is why Heber jobs should be booked early.
